With the task of creating a paper garment that was able to change the shape of the body, my initial idea came in the form of an artichoke.
The fragile properties of paper combined with the idea of a delicate flower, created the concept for the shoot and a character narrative.
A small, youthful, nymph like figure, surrounded by a huge outer shell of layered paper. Highlighting how small and dainty the girl looks and how the only protection she has, is as equally fragile as her.
Fairy sparkles and artichoke hearts.
