The lines of London

 Over 3 days we were sent out into London in small groups. We were set tasks by our tutors and taken to various spots in London to draw on sight, from the top of the 'Cheese Grater' to the grave yards of Hackney. Each tutor had their own aesthetic, their own individual ways of working, and these shone through in our work. From these differing tasks and areas a culmination of 'the lines London' were formed, each person coming away with new ways of working, and expressing themselves within the seemingly 'strict' confines of drawing. 
It was so interesting to explore areas of London that we wouldn't usually visit, a very diverse body of work was produced as shown in the exhibition below.
